Angkor Thom is the City of Angkor. The first 2 photos show the entrance from the south gate. On both sides of the road leading to this gate, there are many big statutes that depicted the Hindu epic Churning of the Sea of Milk. In this epic, the gods and the devils joined force to churn the Sea of Milk with a naga to achieve eternal life and to generate the apsaras. The 3rd to 5th photos are the gods that lined up on the left side of the entrance.
