The view as you enter Reichswald cemetery in the Rhineland. There are almost 7,500 graves here. About half of the graves contain the remains of troops involved in the Rhine crossings and the push from Holland into Germany. The other half are of RAF aircrew of Bomber Caommand, many of whom were shot down in their aircraft whilst on their way to, or returning from missions to Germany.
