Nick, I shot maybe a couple of dozen and deleted 90%. The 1Dmk11 will shoot at approx 8-9 frames per second so the chances of getting a decent head position are improved - I have another shot of the same bird with its head twisted. If you like these shots you would be blown away by some of the images posted by local photographers on the HK birdwatching society site at www.hkbws.org.hk
Go the discussion forums and click on Gallery 11 for overseas shots (plenty from kenya) and Gallery 1 for local HK birds. There is some real photographic talent in HK. Check out KK Hui, Pippenho, Hendrix et al.
