If Stephen King wrote a novel about an autonomous train out for revenge, it would look like this.

nice work Walter

A great decision on behalf of the museum to allow the aging process to continue. I prefer this to the coats of paint needed for upkeep.

Splendid and dynamic composition

A strong POV with the perspective, detail and textures. It is also sad that this locomotive has not been restored or at least protected from nature and rust. They are a part of history and can not be replaced. Nicely presented Walter. VV

The "May Gray" is so subtle, in contrast to the rugged mechanical beauty ~ VVV!

I hope they leave it as it is and not restore it. Being older, I can relate to this train. V

Wow... what a super shot. The rust color is so rich, but that dramatic sky makes it eerie. Love your PoV and the strong saturated color. V

A fine representation of the state of steam today. A rusted relic. I loved steam engines when I was a kid, and would watch them whenever at crossings or viewpoints as they went by. I recall the cab-forward mallets that used to head the long trains heading into the Cascades to take lumber from here to California in days gone by. Those huge engines were spell-binding!

Magnificent! I would go there just to see this train. I love how you framed it and saturated it enough to bring out all that rusted beauty. ~VVV~
