Yucca Valida

Native to our area, Baja California and Northern Mexico.
All the light colored leaves are dead. Normally these are trimmed off if the tree is in a garden or park.
The edges of the long spear shaped leaves can cut like a knife.
The tree is about 7 meters / 23 feet tall.

Marvelous specimen nicely captured V PS I have one of these which moves indoors for the winter. It touches the ceiling now, so will probably have to be put to death next winter :(
