Jacaranda Tree

We planted this tree as a small sapling when we moved into our house sixteen years ago.
It is now much taller than the house. My guess is about fifty feet.
It flowers once a year for a few days, but the flowers are so delicate that a strong wind or rain will take them off.
A hard rain rain is forecast for tonight, so maybe tomorrow the blossoms will be gone.
