Beauty in Flight
This was taken at San Diego Botanical Garden yesterday during our monthly photo shoot there.
The shoots are always an occasion for some good macro shooting, camera talk and much joking around. I started attending in February of 2006.
Yesterday we were accompanied by two docents who identified flowers, plants and trees for us and let us taste some of the fruit that is ripening in the garden.

just love this unusual subject for a flight shot, especially the way the light is shining through. I am off to Arizona this week so it gives me hope that there will be butterflies still about.
