It was actually rafting trip, 1981, Uda river, in the middle of nowhere (2 weeks out in the taiga, on the river). There was a cave on the way, so we stopped to visit it. We went down with the light we had (some torches and just one week flash light). The torches soon exhausted, light suddently went off, it was cold (middle of the summer, but it was ice on the bottom of the cave. Finally another group rescued us. What're the young idiots we were:)
