Sakau - a local drink

Sakau (Kava) (Piper methysticum) is an ancient crop of the western Pacific. Other names for kava include ʻawa (Hawaii), 'ava (Samoa) and yaqona (Fiji).

Best on the ROCK. Only after drinking this in Pohnpei is it culturally acceptable to drink alcohol. Kabobo is what any other intoxicant is called when consumed after Sakau en Pohnpei. Kasaleileieh meing ko. Sapwalap Represent. Madolenimw where the sakau is strong and the women do all the work.

this is kava. we call it sakau en pohnpei.. it is what people in micronesia drink when they feel like drinking... they say it rest there body so they could sleep all the way to night tyme...

Um..It is not Chocolate. It is what call, Sakau en Pihnpei. Yup, that's what we call it.
