Imagine being part of a small group of 10 people who just spent the night camping in Joshua Tree National Park. We wake to hot chai and graham crackers. After the tea we make our way a short distance through the desert to a small clearing accented by desert shrubs. Surrounded by magnificently sculpted rock formations we set our mats on the clean sand. Still a bit cool out we begin to warm our bodies with Sun Salutations. Greeting the sun our practice continues for close to two hours. Returning back to our camp we find breakfast waiting. Pancakes with maple syrup, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, coffee, and tea. Our day has just begun!
