This was up a mountain above Beddegelert in Snowdonia, N.Wales, where a rushing stream tumbled over a little waterfall and formed a small pool below before rushing down to another waterfall & pool. It was a peaceful, idyllic spot off the beaten track.
Must try to find some more pics of it, or get up there again. I love the Alps, but I think this small hanging valley and babbling stream was one of the most beautiful places I've seen.
