The answer, Aloha, is both. This woman is a treasurer. As your title notes, a lifetime of weather, worry, and work is etched on her face. Nature has colored it deep brown, and she chooses to wear deep red -- a powerful color combination. And you make the best of all of it by moving in to abstract her and stress the texture and color, and then finding the moment in time when the face becomes animated, best expressing the spirit that rests within. Beautifully done.
