My grandfather's sister's husband Fabius Page (as in Page Road if you are familiar with RTP) loved horses. He loved them so much he built a cemetery where he buried many of his horses and mules over the years. My dad went to this cemetery when he was a kid but couldn't remember where it was and has been trying for years to find it. I finally found a family member (one of Fabius' children) who knew where it was located. He gave me directions so Alli and I went to check it out during lunch one day.

It was kind of amusing to visit a cemetery for horses but I suppose it is pretty cool that great uncle Fab loved his animals enough to build a cemetery for them :)
