Baked Beans

Fart Fodder for sure. I like mine with a fried egg and some chips - awesome (don't use the word scrummy Ian) or essentially on toast, preferably home made bread under the grill not in the toaster (the grill gets hotter than the toaster does). I spice mine up with whatever... curry powder is good (I nearly said cool then), garlic - always add a fresh clove anyway. Sometimes I go mad and add cayenne pepper, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, basil, thyme, mustard and cloves.... that's enough to blow your sox off!! Cheese is good too on top with a couple of minutes under the grill to melt and brown off... Best of all is when they are served with a nice juicy pork sausage or some grilled smoked bacon....

The humble baked bean, ready to eat in a jiffy... Simply AWESOME!!

(Credit to Cliff for the inspiration for todays shot! Your beans look fantastic!!)

Well lit, Ian.
The last time I had the dreaded fart fodder was in Alfriston, Sussex in 1969. It was forced down my throat on a school trip when there was nothing else for breakfast. Yuk!

I want some! We can't get them here and they are almost my favourite thing in the world. Thanks for making me salivate.

Gee, I don't know Ian. Using the term "Fart Fodder" and posting a "Heinz" product a day before elections here in the U.S., might get some citizens here all in an uproar, hahaha! Great shot!
