Squash

I've often looked at the bubbles at the top of glass containing the orange squash drink and thought 'that would make a good picture'. So here it is, not cider nor beer but a humble glass of orange squash! (Robinsons actually!)

Canon EOS 10D ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
1/200s f/22.0 at 100.0mm iso200 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Impressive shot Ian. Not sure about Jeanne's link though, $6 for a litre. I thought it was about 50p!

Very nice shot !

$6/liter?
Nice shot. Bubbles on water looks like a good thing to try.

Made an interesting image Ian - nice one!

Jeanne - it's an English thing! One plays a bit of tennis in summer then to quench one's thirst one has a drink of squash {lol} ... Boy your going to need a translator when you come to the UK!!

They charge $5.99!!! Ian, I do like this - reminds me of an aerial view of a tin of paint, except as far as I know that is bubbleless.

I had never heard of Orange Squash. Had to google it to see what it was! I found THIS LINK . They should hire you to do their shots as this is FAR better than the one on that page!

I don't think you could have hit it better ... the color and detail are near perfect ... it makes ne thirsty and I don't even know what squash is. I thought it was for pies.
Guest 05-Apr-2004 17:56
I don't believe this!! I'm just uploading my photo for today onto my PC - bubbles around a straw in a glass!
Great minds, and all that! This is a fab shot, Ian!
