It wasn't particularly windy on the estate here at Chappell Towers today but there was enough to make photographing the first daffodil of the season a tad tricky. This little beauty had already had a battering in the winds over the weekend and just wouldn't keep still for me no matter how nicely I asked. After taking around sixty or so shots this one appeared to be best of the bunch!

Neat photo. I would probably have given up much sooner than you, given the wind. Your daffodils are up already!?

The reason I didn't take my dwarf Irises was 'cos it was too windy. My daffs aren't out yet but coming into bud. We build 'em tough up here don't we Ian?!

Interesting shot showing that there are endless ways to shoot a flower. What daffs? It must be warmer up there!
