I first visited the Ivy Hospital on the evening of 24 November 2007 to pay a courtesy call on the CEO Mr Gurtej Singh. Despite the fact this magnificent facility was still being made ready for the spiritual opening the next day, the entire team were working calmly and with purpose to make the hospital as ready as possible for the first public unveiling.

It was hard to believe that after just over 12 months construction, 12 hours later the friends and family of the hospital team and local community would see this gleaming new facility almost ready for patients.
