The Ivy Hospital is located in Sector 71, Mohali, adjacent to Chandigarh in the State of Punjab in India.

The Ivy Hospital is a brand new state of the art multi specialty hospital, the brain child of Mr Gurtej Singh, Dr Kanwaldeep Kaur and Mr K.S. Bajwa. For Mr Bajwa the completion of this hospital is the fulfilment of a dream held by his late wife Mrs Jatinder Bajwa.

The Ivy Hospital opened on 26 November 2007.

The galleries about this hospital are the product of my attendance at the events marking the opening of this grand project. The first gallery shows the last minute preparation the day before the community opening. The second gallery records the beautiful day of the Community Opening. The third gallery brings you the formal opening by the Chief Minister of Punjab State. The fourth gallery will give you a preview of the inside of the new hospital. Most of the photographs in these galleries are "reportage" of the events as they happened.

I was privileged to be the guest of Mr Singh and Mr Bajwa who gave me unlimited access to the project. For those who are part of the Ivy Hospital family I hope you enjoy remembering the great days of the hospital's opening. For those unconnected with the hospital, I am sure you will sense the commitment of these great people of the Punjab.
