At 7.30am on 25 April 2008 Cracow, an old, largely derelict mining in Central Queensland about 30 minutes drive from Theodore, held an Anzac Day ceremony. After attending the Dawn Service in Theodore I set out to see what might have been the smallest Anzac Day service in Australia.
The village and service might have been small. The sincerity and solemnity of this tiny community was moving. As an Australian I felt connected to my country's heart and history.
I will add images to this gallery over the next few days. In this gallery I have my image file names however please look at the comments after you click on the thumbnail.

Our company was apparently in town for about 7 years. I currently am resting with a broken finger after a w/place accident.....ouch. Hope that you enjoyed your time in the Bowen Basin and are kickin goals for the 'accuseds' in Sideney. regards Peter Kelly
