I have modified my D200 to IR camera in 2008, you may find the latest IR photos are taken by D200 without the use of Hoya R72 filter.

Hi Alex,
when I met you at Sydney pier last may 2007, you were shooting IR with a D70 + Hoya filter IR R72. So i am very surprised about you D200 modification, I mean I know there is an anti-IR filter embedded on D200, and you must remove it in order to shoot proper IR photos ... with a filter !
How can you shoot without a filter ? You mean you modified your D200 and installed on board an IR-filter ? Is this reversible, or are have you condamned your D200 to shoot only IR frames forever ?

I am very curious ...

Of course, your IR shoots are always great .... :-)
