Blues rocker Carolyn Wonderland brought her trio to the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.'s Big Room on January 29, 2014. The Houston native, with stylings that sometimes were reminiscent of sober Janis Joplin (stage presence) and Stevie Ray Vaughan (guitar), she serenaded the sold-out audience with hot guitar passages and soulful vocals and several originals as well as cover songs by such artists as Billy Joe Shaver and Los Lobos.
