Singer-songwriter Chris Webster (from Mubo Gumbo) and versatile guitarist Nina Gerber paired up for a lovely house concert on Feb. 25 at The Birdhouse, located in a canyon near Forest Ranch, Calif. With Chris in fine voice, and Nina making all sorts of crafty guitar passes - with her dog Tootsie by her side - the show was a real treat. The evening was made more special by the beautiful location and hosts David and Kerry Eldridge's lovely home and hospitality, and the community potluck of like-minded music fans. As the crow flies, The Birdhouse is very close to our house in Magalia, just one steep canyon over.
