For a semester-ending event on May 17 for Donna's Gerontology 121 class, she invited the students - and their semester's elder adult mentors with whom they worked during the semester - to gather in Folsom Hall at Sac State. Donna brought in 40-plus plants. Each of the many students gave spoke a little about their experiences with their mentors and then picked a plant and handed it to their mentor as a thank you.
