Again words from Fernado Pessoa.
In this case from the poem "The message",
where he speaks about the story of Portugal.
No matter how many years have gone by since
it was first published, its message remains
actual and meaningful.
It starts with "Oh, salted sea,
how much of your salt are tears from Portugal"
this phrase that I heard first as a yound child
had a great impact on me, as it made me believe that
the salt of the sea was actually the tears cried
by the Portuguese.
I guess that deep down inside, a little
part of me, still believes...
