If the walls could speak

Photos take in Lisbon's Convento do Carmo, which dates from the XIV century and was partially destroyed in the big earthquake of 1755.
It remained roofless to these days as a reminder of that tragic event...

You have used the light and shadows so well to create such a mood...a mood that is haunting and seems to span time itself...as these arches spanned the space above the lives of those who once lived here.
