Northern Hawk Owls

A very cold and windy day in Peru NY,wind chills close to -25 below BURRRRRR. Needless to say we had to get some shots.The sun was out, the clouds thickened ,it started to snow all in a few minutes,extremely difficult condtions to say the least. The Northern Hawk Owl is rarely seen in this area if ever before. Once again to my fortune I had the privildge of spending a few hours photographing this wonderful animal
