There are wild chickens and roosters everywhere on Kauai. Some people believe that they are
descendants of chickens from a farm that was destroyed by Hurricane Iniki in 1992; others claim
they've been around much longer. Just looked at our pictures from our first visit here in 1989.
The chickens were already there. So much for the hurricane theory.
