Finally I'm home again! I'd arranged for us to have an apartment near the Colosseum for a week. This is both good and bad. On the plus side, I get to wander through the centre of ancient Roma as soon as I get out of bed. On the negative side a lot of the eateries around this area are tourist traps.

But not all of them.

For the majority of the days we undertook a significant excursion or three that is worth of its own gallery. However there will be the occasional times where there are shots at the start or end of the day that aren't relevant to those excursions. They can go in here.
