The time had arrived to bid a fond and possibly premature farewell to Christchurch, having seen... bits of it, at least. I took the opportunity to do one last early morning photo shoot in the area around our hotel.

From there we went to the airport to fly out of the Canterbury region and on to the Otago region, and the ski resort of Queenstown. However it was late July by then, so don't expect to see much in the way of powder action.
