Corrimal Beach / Towradgi Beach Rock Pool view map

To the left, we have Corrimal Beach and dark grey cloud cover. To the right we have Towradgi Beach Rock Pool under a clearing sky. In the centre we have stairs leading down to the border between the two beaches and vaguely toward the really feeble sunrise peeking through a small gap in the clouds.

If the forecast is to be believed, that's what today will be like. Gloomy with the chance of showers this morning, becoming sunny... OK, less cloudy... later this afternoon. Tomorrow, however, will be a solar radiation bonanza if you're into that kind of thing.

It'll also be 28 degrees C if you're into that kind of thing, which I'm not, but not as much as I'm not into the 33 degrees forecast for Sunday.

I had an idea of adding a summary of what's in the news for each of my 2025 postings. But looking at the headlines for the last 24 hours, I doubt that I really want to at this point.

For the moment, let's just stick with the weather. At least the pelican atop the light pole should have a good view of it.

Well at least you had a peak at the sun trying its best to come out! V

I thought about getting up and doing a sunrise shot this morning (much later than 5.53am) but it was cold so I stayed cosy under the covers instead. Saw some pics by the more energetic local photographers and it was more colourful than that.
