I'm not really a fan of using mobile devices for photography; generally I'll only do it for something to stick on social media which has NO respect for photographs and will moosh them down to save a few cents of bandwidth and storage space. I presumably planned to do that with this one as well which I took using my tablet, but it's just so dashed-awful purdy that I decided to add it into my real galleries.

You can see the sign of our hotel on the building to the left. The garden is full of alpine plants, with stone houses in the background. Beyond that, I believe that the background mountain is Monte Bianco itself, though the minor peaks that I would usually use to identify it are obscured by cloud. We did indeed luck out with the weather on this occasion with beautiful blue skies and temperatures that were neither too warm nor too cool.

Well, for me, anyway.
