I discussed Ned Kelly (Dec 1854 to 11 Nov 1880), bushranger and general purpose criminal, in image 13223. His gang's hare-brained idea to use thick, heavy suits of armour was covered in 13225.
As a final glimpse, since his death mask is arguably one of the most famous in Australia, I present a less dramatically lit shot of it. As best I recall it was located on the ground floor, and I was shooting from the first floor near the gallows that he was briefly, but life-changingly, associated with in November of 1880.
