The youngsters of AC Milan warm up. Most but not all of these are from the Primavera (youth) squad, and the only one who started the match is defender Fikayo Tomori (#23), the guy on the right of the two who are standing behind the group, on the right of frame.

The other ones that I've been able to identify here are:
* #38, Defender Filippo Terracciano, on the far left of the frame. We'll see him doing some Karate Kid moves in image 0797. The slumped shoulders belie a guy who is reputed to be a far better than average young player.
* #85, Midfielder Kevin Zeroli, the guy with the Sideshow Bob hairstyle on the left of the central group, with his left leg extended. (Which is interesting as he's a right footer.) I've often said that it's tedious to see mercenaries playing rather than people with ties to the club but this guy, THIS guy is the living embodiment of that. He started playing for Milan at the age of five! FIVE! THAT is a true Milanese.
* #17, Striker Noah Okafor, standing behind the group as we're looking at it;
* #95, Defender Davide Bartesaghi who we'll talk more about in image 1111;
* #80, Midfielder Yunus Musah on the right of the main group, lunging forward in his bright yellow boots; and
* #82, Defender Jan-Carlo Simić, who is standing to the left of Tomori as we're looking at the shot. Simić would not come onto the field until the 73rd minute (around 20:39) as a substitute for #20, Pierre Kalulu and thus far I've not written anything about him because he didn't pop up as a significant figure in any of the plays that I shot after he came on. He's one of the younger ones (he won't be 20 until May 2025) and is German by birth but plays for Serbia internationally.(He has dual citizenship.) Other than that I have essentially nothing on him. He has apparently made 4 appearances in Serie A (with 1 goal), but most of his time is spent in the Primavera competition.
