I arrived in Perth the previous afternoon between patches of rain that had been hitting the city on and off for a week. This morning I did a practice walk to the stadium... until the rains came back, and I aborted that mission. Eventually (if they are not there already, depending on when you're seeing this) there will be shots of that trip in my general Perth gallery.

According to the ticketing e-mail, the times were:
5:30pm Gates Open
7:00pm Kick Off: AC Milan v AS Roma
9:00pm Full Time

So I decided to leave the hotel around 17:30 to get there around 18:00. As I leave the hotel, I see the promotional banners for the match for one of the last times. (Or so I thought; they were still up on the Sunday morning which was my last day in Perth.)
