I described why I like this shot in the previous image. The image of the laundry and the teddy bear airing on the window ledge is a pedestrian image, but also specific to a real life lived in a very specific village.
As I said in the previous shot, but which you probably couldn't see when it was reduced to gallery size, Teddy seems to be keeping a particularly close eye on me.
And I am indeed fine with that.
My guess is that the child who owned this teddy was somewhere between 4 and 6 years old. By now (7 years later, in September 2023 as I'm writing) high school probably isn't far off (if not already here), and after the same amount of time has elapsed again, that will be over too. I hope Teddy has been kept around, possibly to be passed on to a future generation.
