Two shots ago we saw the starboard side of the (now former) Qantas 747-400 (747-438ER) VH-OEH. Here she has completed her turn and gives us a glimpse of her port side as she heads towards her parking bay.
The history was covered in the first shot, but in a nutshell, at the time of writing this (August 2022 in the post-pandemic (more or less) era), she is probably still out in a desert somewhere waiting for a buyer who, let's be brutally honest, will probably never come. VH-OEH is over 20 years old at this point, and there are newer, more fuel-efficient planes on the market. You never know, but I don't like her chances of ever taxiing across this apron again.
