This is looking along Bong Bong Street Bowral, but we can see that there are entrances to the same businesses that were around the corner down from the cafe in the earlier shots. I mentioned the changes in Bowral over the years in the descriptions of other shots. One thing that is very noticeable here is the number of - well, I wouldn't say "upmarket" since the clothes are accessible and affordable to anyone on an average income- but certainly above midmarket clothing brand stores.
Unfortunately I also see a real estate agent sign there. Trust me, you don't want to see too many of those in your local neighbourhood lest it turn into what Wollongong is turning into. Houses should be a place to live, not multimillion dollar, capital appreciating, tax offset assets. Once upon a time ridiculously accelerating house prices was exclusively a problem in Sydney and the other capitals, making it nearly impossible for average working-class people (even police, teachers and so on) to afford a home. Now it's spreading to the regions like a cancer as well, and the classic indication of that cancer metastasising is the number of real estate agents in an area.
And it's not like Bowral is the cheapest place to live to start off with.
But as for the title of this image, I was just struck by the purposefulness of the walk of the 2 men who, purely fortuitously, appear in it.
