The traffic in Paris these days is horrendous. I have nothing but respect for the taxi driver who got us from Gare du Nord the previous day across the city, over the river and to our hotel.
In the circumstances it's unsurprising that many people are moving to the smallest practical transport possible. Motorbikes and motor scooters are far from an uncommon sight in Paris these days.
And when one hurtles past that other symbol of Paris, the boulangerie (the same one that we saw in the previous shot)... well, I just had to shoot that too, non?
