I've never been one for taking a lot of candid shots, but I did feel inclined to do more of it on this trip to try to develop my skills. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. This one was more or less what I intended; if I had my time over again I might have preferred to open up to f/4 but by the time I spotted the triangular arrangement of the subjects there was no time to do anything other than aim, focus and fire before the two women in the foreground moved out of position.

In that respect it worked out well enough.
