Naples has a slightly edgy, dangerous reputation which is probably in equal parts deserved and exaggerated. However there is no doubt that when the sun goes down you will be seeing the blue lights of a police car.

In this case, I've caught them behind the plastic windshield of a parked motorcycle to give an ambient effect.

You may not be able to see this in the image that I post, but it's visible in the full-scale image; over on the right there is a girl in a short, tight dress with long boots, sitting with her legs crossed on one of the motor scooters, chewing her thumbnail and looking directly at me. She gives off the vibe of being in equal part seductive and dangerous. Upon reflection, that's probably a reasonable metaphor for Napoli itself.
