I mentioned in previous shot that I had a "toy" fisheye lens. It's basically a flat disc which you swap out with the main lens. It has a sliding lens cover, and that's about it. You can't focus with it, you can't do much of anything with it other than shoot.
Well, I did put it on for a couple of shots inside the Galleria Umberto I. Most of them turned out to be complete rubbish. A couple of them turned out to be far from impressive, but maybe adequate enough to be photographically interesting.
This one falls into that category. Here I stood back and shot two separate wings leading off the central dome with the ornate triple story main structure in between.
Sorry, but it's the best I could do with the tools they had at the time. I would love to have a proper fisheye lens, but even if I bought one would I realistically want to carry it to Europe for the occasional shot like this? That's the main reason that I haven't ever been willing to shell out for one.
