It's Tuscany, like anyone will notice.
I must confess to having been a bit confused by these signs but the top one apparently means "End 50km/h zone". The bottom one obviously means that you are entering a 30km/h zone which is really, really slow. But since there is livestock about, better safe than sorry.
In Australia there are no signs indicating when a speed zone ends, just when one begins. Once the zone has ended, what it was is pretty academic.
Still, when in Rome... oh, wait, we weren't in Rome. OK, let me rephrase. When in Tuscany, do as the Tuscans do. Drive at a leisurely 30km an hour, bask in exquisite countryside, live at a slow pace and eat a lot of oh-so-excellent food. And take photos of that delicious morning light. Oh, wait, that was just me. They're probably used to it.
