When I left the hotel, I turned left. If I'd had the time, I would have loved to pack some supplies and water and just kept walking for an hour or two. Unfortunately as always time was in short supply and I had to make sure that I got back in time for breakfast prior to our departure to Firenze.
Accordingly I was heading back to the hotel, which can be vaguely seen far off in the distance along with our tour coach. I wanted to take a look at what I would find up on the road to the right of the hotel gates as well, and I was running out of time to do that.
The partially ivy covered wall of a Tuscan farmhouse provided a useful "leading line" accompaniment.
