Another view of the intersection of Via Stalloreggi and Via di Castelvecchio, with Via San Quirco thrown in as well.
We have the narrow streets, the classic Siena style of buildings (including the green wooden shutters), some flags which I must admit I don't really know the meaning of (I can't see it in a list of regional flags, and Siena's own flag is black and white), sunlight shining through the old style light fitting, those strange new circus like lights that we saw in an earlier shot on the wall of the building in Via San Quirco... and further up, of course, the washing hanging out from the window.
All in all, it's a pretty (in both senses) Tuscan urban scene. Except maybe for the circus light fittings. They're just odd. (Though I suspect that the red, white and blue of the flags and the red, white and blue of the lights are not just coincidental.)
