If you look through my galleries you will see relatively few sunsets. Lots of sunrises with the promise of a new day, but very few sunsets. Sunsets which represent the end of a day, and all the things that were not done, and all the unrealised hopes associated therewith.

I am not a sunset person for that reason.

But hey, Tuscany. It does sunsets better than most places.

And although looking back I can see a lot of unmet hopes and missed opportunities on that trip... on balance the amount of new, good experiences on any given day outweighed the things not done.
