After leaving Pompeii, we headed further south to Sorrento on the northern side of the southern tip of the Bay of Naples. It's about 25km across the bay back to Naples.
Sorrento is a beachside township of about 16 and a half thousand people. It's best known for its lemon beverages, especially Limoncello.
We ended the day by going to a restaurant which was overlooking the bay. Unfortunately I lacked a tripod and there was no place to rest the camera, so the only option was a very high ISO and more graininess from the M43 sensor than you get out of an average Chinese rice farm.
Still, it was a beautiful sight regardless of (or maybe in part because of) the dark clouds having rolled through earlier in the evening.
