The relatively weak winter sun bounces off the bare branches of our crepe myrtle tree. The pale, dissolved disk that sits in the background is the moon. I have far too little DOF to get that as an integral part of the shot (even when I stopped down further) and to keep the branches sharp, despite the fact that this was originally intended to be a shot of the moon framed by the branches. In the end I decided that I'd rather keep the branches and the light that's on them.
