The last image that I posted (which, in due course, won't be the one before this, for I have many PADs from this year to post) mentioned some issues that I'd had making a payment to PBase. For reasons that I won't bore you with, I finally got it through so, while my membership lapsed for a while, it's back for another 12 months.
And to celebrate that movement I decided to use this shot of the frozen movement of a bee collecting nectar from these flowers. (Flowers which, incidentally, would be gone within a week, such is the cycle of life and the desperate need of nature to dump crud into your swimming pool.)
One thing that I need to do more of photographically is... actually shoot stuff closer to daily than I'm doing at the moment. Well, yeah, that too, but also tracking shots.
One would not have thought that the 40-150 would be the ideal lens for this type of shot but I think it did rather well here.
