Sulphur crested cockatoos are found in abundance in the Illawarra. Skilled mimics, domesticated ones can often "talk" quite well and indeed I've even had wild ones say "Harllloooo" to me, doubtless picked up from people saying "Hello" to them.

This one was taking a break from ripping the local trees apart looking for (and scattering) yummy fruits and seeds.
