While the cloud in yesterday's shot yielded nothing, a rainband swept into town last night and has decided to stick around for a while. It's moderated the temperature somewhat but has mostly seemed to just make things more humid, pushing the relative percentage up from the 80's yesterday into the 90's today.
With the rain pelting down early this morning I looked out of the window and couldn't quite bring myself to go out for an early morning shoot. Similarly there are a few places that I could go tonight... but I lack motivation with so many other things that I need to do.
In the end I just threw up my hands and went out into the garden to do some macro shooting of the resident daisies. I had hoped to capture some rain drops on them as well, but they seem to have shaken most of them off. Only the tiniest droplets can be seen adhering to a couple of the lower petals.
Also much as the 60mm is a very forgiving lens and the IS in Olympus cameras is very good, I think I really should find the time to get out the tripod for shots like this. Even the smallest amount of movement degrades the image from what it could be.
